Found this great recipe of Buchi on Flavors Magazine when they featured one of the asian specialties from Three hudred sixty degrees bar over at A. Venue Mall. Buchi is a traditional chinese desert and snack but this is not an ordinary buchi because it doesn't have a mongo filling but a whole Ferrero Rocher chocolate! After seeing the picture of the food, I remember my friend and former officemate Jasmin Poblete who likes Ferrero Rocher Chocolate. It's actually my favorite too. I will try to cook this soon. :-) Don't you think it looks yummy?
Well, here's the recipe:
Buchi Rocher
1 cup glutinous rice flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
Ferrero Rocher chocolates
sesame seeds
oil for deep-frying
1. In a bowl, mix together rice flour, sugar and milk.
2. Wrap each Ferrero Rocher chocolate with rice mixture.
3. Roll in sesame seeds.
4. Deep-fry in hot oil.
