Happy Halloween?

Do we really have to celebrate Halloween? What's this stuff all about? Why are everyone's excited about it? Is it about all those zombies or dead people and ghosts? Should Christians participate in Halloween? As we know, October 31st holiday is closely connected with worshiping SATAN. It is a holiday that generally glorifies the dark things of this world, rather than the light of Jesus Christ.

Halloween's roots can be traced to the Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked summer's end. It was believed that on Samhain, the border between the world of the living and the dead allows spirits to pass through to attack humans, who could escape only by assuming disguises and looking like evil spirits themselves. That is how the idea of wearing scary, bloody and gory costumes got started. But believe it or not, most of our Halloween practices can be traced back to these old pagan rites and superstitions.

Quote to remember:
"I think we ought to close Halloween down. Do you want your children to dress up as witches? The Druids used to dress up like this when they were doing human sacrifice...[The children] are acting out Satanic rituals and participating in it, and don't even realize it."--Pat Robertson, "The 700 Club," 1982-OCT-29

Planning to Start a Home Business?

Being a stay at home mom, I'm also thinking of ways which I can help my husband support our family financially. And as of now, I'm thinking of a home business which is suitable to me. I want to be financially independent and work on my own time. But when I'm thinking about starting my own home based business, the hardest question can be, "What kind of home-based business should I get into?" There are many things to consider when planning for a home-based business. My time availability, my personality, my talents and strengths, the amount of money I have available to start a business, my family and other busy aspects of my life. And most importantly, I want to make sure that my chosen opportunity is something I am going to enjoy doing as this will help me achieve the maximum success possible.

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes

It's my son's Birthday

John Aaron with his tito, sis and cousins

It's my son, John Aaron's 8th birthday today. And like what I've posted last night, my plans are all ruined because of this killer sore eyes! huhuhuh! My eyes now are more puffy and reddish than yesterday. I told him that if he wants, I'll just cook pasta, buy a cake and ice cream and we'll celebrate it on his lolo's house but he refused. What he wants for his birthday is just to go to the mall and eat at KFC or Max's and play all day at Tom's World, awww! my eyes! I cannot make it so, we decided to just celebrate it on Saturday.

Aaron loves Yo Gabba Gabba that's why, I've searched for this video on You Tube. Hope you like it son! Have a Happy Birthday!

I have Sore eyes!

I am sick today! I have sore eyes with matching fever. And my head is aching too. Oh, too bad, tomorrow is my son's 8th birthday and all my plans for tomorrow are ruined. I fear that I'd get to pass this to my brother. My son is the first who got this awful disease. Last Saturday, he also had a red bloodshot eyes. Then, my daughter yesterday, and now, it's me.grrrrrr! It's bad enough to have my eyes looking puffy and red in color. But it gets even worse when i have to isolate myself from others to avoid spreading it. And also, some people are afraid to come near me. Afraid of being infected with the virus. Hayy! Hopefully, it'll get better tomorrow

The Dancing Flight Attendants

Here is a video presenting the latest gimmick in Cebu Pacific Airlines, The Dancing Flight Attendants. Their pretty flight attendants dance to the beat of Lady Gaga's Just Dance and Katy Perry's California Girls while showing the airplane safety precautions and procedures to the passengers. This is cool! The passengers will surely watch throughout the entire safety demonstration and will not be bored.

I'm Feeling Frustrated!

I am so irritated and not feeling well today. I’ve just been soo freakin frustrated lately. This entire week just totally stinks for me. And can I say that since I am blogging publicly that I would rather not say what the cause of the frustration is. I know I’m going through a trial right now and it isn’t a big trial like others have gone through or what not, but it’s a trial for me nonetheless right now.

I hope to try and blog a bit more, maybe it will help to get my feelings out a bit more.
