Coffee or Tea?
I am a person who really loves coffee. I couldn't start a day without a cup in the morning. And crave for it even at the evening. But I am thinking now of drinking tea instead of coffee. Why? Because I've heard a lot that drinking tea is really healthy than drinking coffee. Well, both these drinks are delicious and you can see that tea and coffee have a lot in common but this is where the similarities begin to fade. Coffee is a good preventative against liver cancer and that it lowers the chance of gallstones. Tea on the other has many health benefits than coffee. For instance, Green tea has been known for powerful metabolism-boosting and fat oxidizing potential of the catchetins it contains. Catchetins is 100 times more potent than vitamin C and 25 times more potent than vitamin E. It is also known to provide 10-40mg of polyphenols and has antioxidant activity greater than a serving of spinach, broccoli, carrots, or strawberries. Studies show that green tea contains antioxidants, polyphenols, theanine, as well as a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. Then, you have Black tea, also loaded with health benefits.
Black tea can prevent clogged arteries that lead to heart attack and stroke, this tea inhibits cancer growth, helps reduce inflammation, and is proven to neutralize many germs.
Based on my research, here are the other benefits of Tea:
1: Enhances Health
2: Prevents Cancer
3: Restricts Blood Cholesterol
4: Controls High Blood Pressure
5: Lowers Blood Sugar
6: Suppresses Aging
7: Refreshes the Body
8: Deters Food Poisoning
9: Prevents and Treats Skin Disease
10: Stops Cavities
11: Fights Viruses
Additional Information
· Green Tea drinkers appear to enjoy better health.
· Green Tea drinkers have half the risk of fatal heart attacks. Compounds in the tea called flavonoids stop blood platelets from forming clots, much like aspirin does.
And with all this benefits, I might be more apt to reach for tea instead of coffee.
