GSIS Scholarship Program

A big tarpaulin caught my attention this morning while I’m at the GSIS lobby, waiting for my mother-in-law. It’s about the GSIS Scholarship program. It says, all active GSIS members of good standing are eligible to join. Interesting, isn’t it? All active members of good standing may nominate ANYONE who is an incoming college freshman or enrolled college student and there are 200 slots available. If you are an active member, you can help someone’s scholastic dreams become a reality through the 2010 GSIS Scholarship Program. The scholar of your choice can enjoy up to P20,000 tuition and miscellaneous fees per semester, and monthly stipend of P2,000. So what are you waiting for? Get one before it reach the deadline. Application forms are available in any GSIS office nationwide and application period is from February 1 to April 23, 2010 only. The electronic raffle draw is on May 19, 2010.
